Audrey fig, also known as a Banyan Tree, is an ornamental fig that is the national tree of India with sacred significance. You may recognize it if you know its cousin, the Suncoast Fiddle-Leaf fig. It is commonly grown indoors where it can achieve heights of 5 to 10 feet, but it can also be grown outdoors where it will achieve much greater height. Some people like to grow the Audrey fig as a bonsai.
- Average mature height: 5-10 feet when grown indoors
- Light: bright, indirect light
- Soil: well-drained
- Watering: Keep moist but not soggy, allowing the soil to dry out somewhat between waterings.
- Zones: 10-12
