Arrive Alive 30-day Guarantee
We guarantee your plants for 30 days after arrival. If you have questions or concerns, email a photo of your plant to support@wellspringgardens.com in its original pot, from top to bottom. Please include the packaging in the photo. Our support team will review to assess your plant’s needs (recovery time, hydration, fertilization, replacement, etc.)
You may be eligible for a free one-time replacement if the plant you purchased is designated for your USDA hardiness zone & you have provided proper care, nutrients, & water.
Replacements/Refunds Only for Damaged/Defective Items
Multiple journeys through the mail can be stressful for a plant, so we encourage you to purchase only if you are positive about your purchase. We only replace/refund items if they are defective or damaged. If our support team determines your plant may make it with recovery time, but you want to return it without giving it time, return shipping will be at the buyer's expense.
Returns for items based on size/description will not be honored. As stated on our site, "We specialize in young plants that are 3-8 inches tall in 3-inch-deep pots so they can grow to maturity under your green thumb and keep your shipping costs low." This is the advertised description and we do not offer refunds or replacements based on size.
Limited Liability
If any of our plants or products turn out to be different than labeled/purchased, Wellspring Gardens is liable only for refunding the purchase price or replacing the item(s). Wellspring Gardens is not liable for any damages or any amount above the purchase price.
Returns
To receive a full refund/replacement, you must send back these original components:
- The plant itself
- Its original pot
- The packaging
If you’re considering returning your plant, DO NOT repot it or plant it in the ground. Failure to include the original components will result in a restocking fee of 50-100% of the order value.
Cold Weather Shipping
Warm and sunny or cold and snowy, we ship all throughout the year unless you ask us to hold your order. We don’t advise shipping in freezing temperatures though. Please ensure temperature lows in your area aren't under 35℉ when you order. If they are that low, just email us at support@wellspringgardens.com and we will be happy to hold your order. Also, make sure to track your package closely and retrieve it as soon as it arrives. We insulate packages bound for cold destinations. We do not, however, use heat packs.
Cancellations
If you would like to cancel an order, you are welcome to do so for a full refund up until the item ships. if the item has already shipped, we will not be able to cancel your order.
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
