The Muscadine "Delicious" grape was introduced by Dennis Gray at the University of Florida in 2009. It was bred from a medium-sized bronze grape and a self-fertile black grape with large fruit. When they're ripe, "Delicious" grapes will be oval-shaped and turn purple/black.

Like the Carlos grape, it is known for its wine-making excellence. The "Delicious" can be harvested earlier than other varieties, produces plentiful yields, is disease resistant and cold hardy up to -5º F.

How tall are baby plants?

We aim to ship your plants when they’re 3-8” tall, though we often ship them taller than that.

What determines whether I get a 3-, 6-, or even 18-inch-tall plant?

The exact size of the plant we send you is variable on the time of year and how long we've been growing it out.

While we call it Mulberry Fuel after our favorite fruiting tree, this fertilizer can really be used on any fruiting plant to ensure its plans come to fruition.
