Pink Panther Plant - Tradescantia Callisia repens
+ Free Shipping
You may know it as Pink Panther, Pink Lady, or Turtle Vine, but whatever the name, this beautiful trailing succulent will bring a pop of pink to your home or garden. Pink Panther, named for its distinctive pink-striped leaves, doesn't get very large, so it works perfectly to brighten up your office space. It cascades up to 12" tall and 24" wide, so another popular usage is in a hanging basket. In the summertime, this plant will reward you with tiny white blooms.
Formerly classified in the Tradescantia family, Pink Panther has been reclassified as a Callisia. Pink Panther is a succulent so its watering needs are low. Soak moderately and then allow to dry out before the next watering to help it maintain low-moisture soil. Water less in the dormant period during fall and winter. If grown outdoors, provide partial shade or dappled sunlight. Indoors, make sure it receives a few hours of indirect light by placing it in a north or east-facing window.
- Average mature height: 12" tall & 24" wide
- Light: Partial shade or dappled sunlight
- Soil: Porous, sandy
- Watering: Moderately soak and allow soil to dry out between waterings
- Zone: 10-12 if grown outdoors or any if grown indoors
