Surinam Cherry - Eugenia uniflora
The Surinam Cherry—also known as Florida Cherry, Brazilian Cherry, or Cayenne Cherry—is a cold hardy shrub with attractive foliage and edible, ribbed berries. Eat the fruit right off the plant when it turns deep red to dark purple. The Surinam Cherry is a popular choice for hedges. (Eugenia uniflora).
