Kiwi - Vincent (Female) ‘Vincent’ is ideal for southern climates. It requires little winter chilling to set fruit. Hardy to 10 -15 F. Fruit set is most successful when winter temperatures dip below 32F. The medium size fruit of this variety is well-regarded and it is reportedly a heavy bearer.
The vines can tolerate part shade but prefer a sunny location where they can ramble up to 30 feet across either a substantial trellis, fence, or patio cover. Kiwi vines can be successfully grown in large containers. Harvest in late fall.

One male plant is adequate to pollinate up to 8 female plants if it is centrally located or 3 – 4 female plants if planted in a row. The female plants produce fruit.
