Sherbet Berry, a drought-tolerant deciduous shrub or small tree, produces a delicious fruit that is loaded with antioxidants and has many medicinal uses. Sherbet Berry is indigenous to Southeast Asia from Pakistan to Cambodia where it is well-known and cultivated. The berries (or phalsa) range in size from 1/4 to 1/2 inch in diameter. They can be eaten fresh or can be made into a tart, thirst-quenching beverage. A great indoor or outdoor plant. Scientific name: Grewia asiatica
