Pineapple Guava (Feijoa sellowiana / Acca sellowiana) is a handsome shrub that's often used as a landscape or hedge plant. It's also known as Pineapple Guava because its fruit resembles the flavors of pineapple and strawberry. Harvest the fruit when it starts dropping to the ground. Pineapple Guava is excellent for warmer regions as it only requires only 50-100 chill hours per year.

I think the shipping process was rough on my seedling. The skewer used to protect the plant worked it’s way into a drainage hole in the seedling pot. So the pot slide up and down the skewer during shipping. Luckily the plant is very healthy minus a few small branches that broke off. After repotting and giving it some time, it’s doing great. I’m very excited to see it mature.
