Mammoth Venus Fly Trap is a new variety, named for its large-growing traps. Since Mammoth is a hybrid created from three of the largest varieties, it's no surprise that the traps will grow to exceed the size of the traps on a regular Venus Fly Trap. You can grow this plant indoors or outdoors with great success as long as you provide bright light and a steady supply of distilled or rainwater in a shallow saucer underneath.

  • Size upon arrival: 1/2 to 1 inch tall

  • Light: Bright/Full sun
  • Soil: Peat/perlite blend or sphagnum moss

Venus Fly Trap

This Baby Venus Fly Trap plant came to Phoenix in perfect condition! Packaged meticulously and just the right amount of moisture as well. It’s already working very hard to capture those annoying tiny little flies! Can’t wait to purchase a couple more.
Thank you for taking such great care!

Don't give your carnivorous plant fertilizer!

Carnivorous plants are adapted to receiving low soil nutrition. They consume bugs to compensate for it. If you try to bypass their nutrient delivery method, by using fertilizer — or tap water with a high particle count — it could harm your plant.
