The Texas Everbearing fig yields a nearly seedless, medium, brown-skinned fruit with deep burgundy pulp. This variety is similar to the Brown Turkey fig. Anticipate a heavy first crop.
- Average mature height: 10-15 feet
- Ripens: First Crop ripens late May to late June. The second ripens September through early November.
- Self-pollinating? Yes
- Soil: Well drained. Will not tolerate excessively wet soil, but needs ample moisture during fruiting.
- Light: Full sun. Does best when it receives full sun for a good portion of the day.
- Zones: 8-10
