Superbum is a truly superb variety of Staghorn Fern. The basal fronds grow upright forming a sort of nest while the foliar fronds droop down. The "nest" collects nutrients for the plant.

Staghorn ferns can be grown in many ways: in a pot or mounted on a slab of wood, tree fern fiber, or a wire basket. They do well indoors and outdoors in areas where freezes rarely occur.
