This delicate banana plant was $21.99. The ad indicated shipping at 1 to 2 days. The plant was shipped in a small box on the 5th and reached me on the 11th. It spent 7 days in the box. By comparison I recently purchased a Blue Java banana plant at a local nursery for $39.99 - it's 3.5 feet tall and healthy. I noticed that Wellspring sells the same variety for $42.99 in the same juvenile tiny form like the one they sent me. The plant shipped to me has yellowing leaves and a yellow unhealthy looking stem - how could it not after seven days in a box? I hope it survives. I am disappointed in the size and condition of this plant, and the terrible shipping choice made by the seller.
