The Rattlesnake Plant has long, wavy, eye-catching leaves that almost appear hand-painted by nature on top with purple undersides. Bring a little of the South American rainforest to your home with this evergreen perennial. It makes a great houseplant. The scientific name recently changed from Calathea lancifolia to Goeppertia insignis.
