The Miranda Pitcher Plant is a hybrid of the Nepenthes species, known for its large, colorful pitchers that trap insects. The plant can grow up to 4-feet-long and the pitchers can reach a whopping 1.5 feet with mouths as wide as your coffee mug. We're talking impressive big! We aim to ship your plants when they’re 3-8” tall, though we often ship them taller than that.

What determines whether I get a 3-, 6-, or even 18-inch-tall plant?

The exact size of the plant we send you is variable on the time of year and how long we've been growing it out.

Carnivorous plants are adapted to receiving low soil nutrition. They consume bugs to compensate for it. If you try to bypass their nutrient delivery method, by using fertilizer — or tap water with a high particle count — it could harm your plant.
