The box it was shipped in was crushed on the top. When I opened the box 3 out of the five leaves were broken and bent over. The plant was leaning in the pot at about a 45° angle. I kept it inside out of the sun and have put it in a reduced Sunshine environment on my porch. I soon will clip off all of the damage sleeves. And repot it into a larger pot which eventually will be about a 25 gallon size pot. I believe that the plant will grow wonderfully healthy despite its rough beginning. I purchased an ice cream banana from you in the past and it’s doing very well. I would recommend changing the company that does your deliveries because the last two deliveries Igallon size pot. My plant came healthy as did the plants I've ordered in the past. I've come to expect healthy plants from this seller, but was disappointed to see how small it was- for the price. It seemed to priced at a premium rate, so I was expecting a plant that was a bit larger. The other plants came at a size that matched what I paid. I am disappointed by the size, but it was healthy and is doing ok.
It arrived with a black spot on two of the leaves and is drooping pretty bad after transplant to a bigger pot. Not sure if the transplant is the cause or what, but it didn’t appear to be in good shape. I’m hoping that it snaps out of his delirium. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I thought it was good until the hail storm hit now I think I will have to get another plant along with the cavendish plant. They are not doing well since the storm.
