The Carolina Yellow Jacket is an uncommon and even rare carnivorous plant with fat pitchers that are green/yellow and red. At maturity, it reaches 6 to 8 inches, which emphasizes the girth of the pitchers. This is not your garden variety carnivorous plant; add one to your bug muncher collection for a unique touch.
• Average mature height: 6 - 8 inches.
• Light: High light. Full sun to lightly filtered sun.
• Soil: Grows well in peat, peat/perlite, or sphagnum moss.
• Water: Place a tray of water underneath to keep the plant wet.
• Zones: 7 - 9

2 pitchers. One about 3", the other about 2 1/2". I guess I'm a little disappointed because everything else I've purchased from them has been above expectations.

It has been several weeks and the plant is healthy. The package arrived faster than any other sellers I've used for far. Right away I was able to put it outside in my mini bog with rainwater and full sun. Today I see the three newest pitchers coming in vigorously and very happy.

The plant arrived healthy & in good condition, but this past Friday when I planned on transplanting it, it looked like it was mummified. I have no idea why this happened. The other 2 plants that I purchased at the same time also had leaves that were turning yellow.Maybe I should have transplanted them sooner. I should be able to save those 2 but I don't think I can save the carnivore. I plan on ordering a replacement today.

Most of the pitchers dried up , otherwise, the plants were healthy looking. Can't wait for more pitchers to grow. Will most likely order from your company.
