Butterwort - Pinguicula primuliflora
+ Free Shipping
Insects beware! The sticky leaves of the Pinguicula primuliflora trap nagging pests. When the Butterwort sends out a beautiful purple flower, you'll forgive its unfortunate common name, and you'll know Shakespeare was right: "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet."
- Light: Full to slightly filtered sun
- Soil: Prefers high humidity and requires moist, acidic soil with very little fertilizer. Place a tray of water underneath to keep it wet constantly. Does very well in Canadian peat.
- Zones: 10-13
