Butterwort - Pinguicula primuliflora

Pinguicula primuliflora. Beautiful small plant with rosettes of pale green mucilage-secreting leaves. The sticky leaves trap insects, which are then digested. Produces an abundance of pale purple flowers.
Prefers high humidity and requires moist, acidic soil with very little fertilizer. Easily kept by placing pot in a shallow dish of water so that soil stays moist. Does very well in Canadian peat.
