The Lauterbachiana, or Silver Sword, has shiny deep green leaves with coppery undersides. Its slender, long, wavy spear-like leaves make the Lauterbachiana different from any other Elephant Ear. This variety makes a stunning focal point in a medium (2-3 gallon) container. If your plant doesn't look just like the picture, give it a little time to grow up. Elephant Ears' attributes become even more defined when they mature.
