The Saanichton female is a large kiwi that is similar to the supermarket variety. You will need a male for your kiwi to bear fruit. The Matua male is an ideal match for the Saanichton female. One male plant is adequate to pollinate up to 8 female plants if it's centrally located. If planted in rows, a male can pollinate 3-4 females. Female plants produce fruit. Male plants do not produce fruit.
• Average mature height: 12-30 foot vine
• Light: Full sun to partial shade
• Soil: Well-drained, average watering needs.
• Zones: 7-9

All of my kiwi plants arrived to South Dakota during an extremely hot temperature streak in very healthy condition! Everything was packed well with care. VERY PLEASED!

I waited forever for this to come back into stock because I have a Tomuri kiwi and need a female. It arrived dead ten days ago, and it is still dead. I think the top two-thirds of it have been dead for a long time. It's a dried-up stick. And now they are out of stock again. So, I can't get another one.

I bought the kiwi vine 3 pack. Will be a while before i can review the fruit, but the plants arrived green and healthy. I watered them well and set on a windowsill. 2 days later i planted in pots with good soil and a stake for support. They are growing well and seem happy.
