The Kapit 'Black Panther' Alocasia is an ideal houseplant — in any zone — due to its small size. As a baby, its foliage starts out a shiny, dark green, but will turn jet black in adulthood. Native to Malaysia, the Kapit thrives in a shaded environment.

The plant had three leaves and one of those were already yellow. Within a day that third leaf fell off and I was left with two leaves and those dont look too great either :(

Love these elephant ears! They are growing much slower than the other elephant ear plants I've had/ have. But that's fine with me. The plant is gorgeous and weeps when you overwater it. (Uhm. I overwatered it).
