Each Wednesday we drop a new, rarer plant that we've grown out larger than our typical starter plant size. This week, we have 12 Gallon-sized Wonderful Pomegranate trees.
Macadamia integrifolia, commonly known as the smooth-shelled macadamia or Queensland nut tree, is a subtropical evergreen tree native to the rainforests of eastern Australia. Renowned for producing the prized edible macadamia nut, it can grow up to 15 meters (50 feet) tall, with glossy, dark green foliage and creamy white to pale pink flowers that appear in long racemes. The tree prefers well-drained soils and thrives in warm, frost-free climates, making it a popular crop in suitable regions around the world, especially in Hawaii and parts of California.
