The common saying, "good things come to those who wait", is true for the Nancyana elephant ear. This variety rewards you with spectacular coloration at maturity: cream-colored variegation that begins around the center vein and extends down into a Y-shape. If your plant doesn't look just like the picture, give it a little time to grow up. Elephant ears' attributes become even more defined when they mature.
• Average mature height: 6-8 feet
• Light: Likes high filtered light but can do reasonably well in 80% shade
• Soil: Boggy but well drained
• Zones: 7b-11
