We sell baby plants

Wellspring Gardens is the starter plant, AKA “baby plant” shop. We just get you started, so you get all the credit for raising your plants under your green thumb.

How tall are baby plants?

We aim to ship your plants when they’re 3-8” tall, though we often ship them taller than that.

What determines whether I get a 3-, 6-, or even 18-inch-tall plant?

The exact size of the plant we send you is variable on the time of year and how long we've been growing it out.

My favorite plant.

I've wanted a tea plant since I was a little kid and now I have one. I had spent quite some time doing some research on these and looking for a good nursery to buy one from. Right now I have had it for a little over a month and it seems to be doing well out in the porch were it can get the light and temperatures it needs to be happy.

Hi Alex, we're thrilled to hear your tea plant is thriving and bringing back childhood memories! Thank you for sharing your experience with Wellspring Gardens. Wishing you many more happy gardening moments!
