Sunshine State Vanilla is a special new Vanilla planifolia variety bred specifically to grow vanilla beans well in Florida, bringing the vanilla market local. It can climb a tree or be twined around a hanging basket. Since this vanilla bean orchid is tropical, it only does well in non-freezing areas, but it makes an excellent houseplant, too, if you want to bring a piece of the Sunshine State to your home.
