Sugar Belle is a superior orange tree that will thrive in your home garden. In fact, its merits are so superior that it has become a commercial cultivar, particularly due to its HLB-resistance (citrus greening resistance). In addition to its disease-resistance, it's also a very vigorous and productive producer. A Mandarin orange hybrid (LB8-9), Sugar Belle, can survive down to 18 degrees Fahrenheit, so you can rest easy during mild Florida freezes. Sugar Belle oranges are segmented like traditional mandarins, but they have a richer and more complex sweet-tart flavor than others. It's pretty much the perfect orange, a very select variety that has the potential to wipe away all orange grove woes.
This Sugar Belle comes in a 1-gallon pot, which is the same size commercial growers plant in their groves, so you will be ready to plant straight in the ground or container of your choice.
