The plant arrived in very secure packaging, though it looked a little rough from the stress of shipping.
I kept the guava by a window in its original plug for a few days to let it adjust. During that time, I noticed a few mealybugs and some leaves beginning to blacken. I addressed the pests right away and trimmed off the stressed leaves.
After a few days, I repotted it into a larger container and moved it outside to acclimate. Since then, I’ve seen healthy new growth, the roots look great, and there’s been no return of the mealybugs.
Now, three weeks later, I’m still very happy with my order. With a little care, the plant bounced back beautifully, and I’m glad it arrived in good enough condition to thrive.
