With intense lime flavor, this "citrus caviar" will delight your tastebuds. Red Finger Lime is beautiful and very thorny, which helps protect the fruit from scavengers. The fruit averages 2-4 inches in length. What makes this fruit truly unique is its deep red color, which makes it even more ornamental. It packs the same great lime punch as the Giant Green Finger Lime, but with some berry and floral notes. It's self-fertile, but planting a second tree (like the Giant Green Finger Lime) will help increase your yield. Finger Limes don't generally face the greening issues that plague many other citrus varieties, which makes them an ideal option for your garden. This does great in the landscape and when grown in a container.
This Red Finger Lime comes in a 1-gallon pot, which is the same size commercial growers plant in their groves, so you will be ready to plant straight in the ground or container of your choice.
