You may know it as Pink Panther, Pink Lady, or Turtle Vine, but whatever the name, this beautiful trailing succulent will bring a pop of pink to your home or garden. Pink Panther, named for its distinctive pink-striped leaves, doesn't get very large, so it works perfectly to brighten up your office space. It cascades up to 12" tall and 24" wide, so another popular usage is in a hanging basket. In the summertime, this plant will reward you with tiny white blooms.

Formerly classified in the Tradescantia family, Pink Panther has been reclassified as a Callisia. Pink Panther is a succulent so its watering needs are low. Soak moderately and then allow to dry out before the next watering to help it maintain low-moisture soil. Water less in the dormant period during fall and winter. If grown outdoors, provide partial shade or dappled sunlight. Indoors, make sure it receives a few hours of indirect light by placing it in a north or east-facing window.

  • Average mature height: 12" tall & 24" wide
  • Light: Partial shade or dappled sunlight
  • Soil: Porous, sandy
  • Watering: Moderately soak and allow soil to dry out between waterings
  • Zone: 10-12 if grown outdoors or any if grown indoors
  • Plants range from 3-8 inches tall in 3-inch-deep pots
  • Orders fulfilled within 1-2 business days
  • Award winning customer service
  • 30-day Guarantee

This plant was TINY! Way smaller and young...

This plant was TINY! Way smaller and younger than the description. It lost nearly all of its leaves during shipping, and it lost the rest within a couple of days (though there were only 4 leaves total). I was able to save it by putting it outside in extra warm, humid, Oklahoma weather, and it is starting to come back.

This picture is how it looks now (you can see how small it is compared to a penny), but it took nearly 3 months for it to grow from a stubby stem into this. I will not purchase from this store in the future.

When purchasing plants online it's always...

When purchasing plants online it's always a gamble. Of coarse we always hope that what we receive is always going to be bigger than what it is as far as starter little plants. I was not disappointed with these guys. I've had them now for a month and they've grown a bit since then. Overall they are pretty and unique. I hope they get bigger and fill out more.
