4.7 Store Rating

Panama Red Passion Fruit grows a burgundy-colored fruit that has all the big passion fruit taste along with citrusy guava notes. At the peak of its maturity, this plant can produce up to 150 fruits in a season. Extra bonus: Butterflies love Passion Fruit plants, so that's one surefire way to bring those beauties to your yard. If this is your first Passion Fruit, expand your collection with Purple Possum (purple fruit), Granadilla (giant, orange fruit) and Bounty (an especially bounteous production of purple fruit).

Introducing Premium & Supreme plants

We're expanding our product lineup with plants that need more space than our classic starter pot allows.

Premium Plants come in a 1-quart pot and Supreme Plants come in a 1-gallon pot.

New Premium & Supreme Plants will release each Friday.

We sell baby plants

Wellspring Gardens is the starter plant, AKA “baby plant” shop. We just get you started, so you get all the credit for raising your plants under your green thumb.

How tall are baby plants?

We aim to ship your plants when they’re 3-8” tall, though we often ship them taller than that.

What determines whether I get a 3-, 6-, or even 18-inch-tall plant?

The exact size of the plant we send you is variable on the time of year and how long we've been growing it out.

Mulberry Fuel: Set it and forget it for 90 days

While we call it Mulberry Fuel after our favorite fruiting tree, this fertilizer can really be used on any fruiting plant to ensure its plans come to fruition.

Apply the granules of this 20-6-9, slow-release formula to the soil surface of your plants and they will slowly feed them over a 90-day period.
A vibrant Wellspring Gardens Mulberry Fuel Plant Fertilizer bag (20-6-9 blend, 1 or 2 LB) features a squirrel with berries, highlights a 90-day slow-release formula for healthy plants, and is surrounded by spilled purple pellets and mulberries.
