Nepenthes burbidgeae x edwardsiana is a striking hybrid pitcher plant (also known affectionately as "Burbeddy") that combines the elegant appearance of Nepenthes burbidgeae with the highly sought-after, heavily ridged peristome characteristics of Nepenthes edwardsiana. All Nepenthes start out green and develop their coloration with maturity and proper growing conditions (including bright, diffused light), so give your pitcher plant a little time to grow up and it will awe you with its color palette and unique features. Your plant may or may not have developed pitchers upon arrival, but they can grow in 30 or fewer days. Nepenthes love humid growing environments and prefers bright, indirect light with consistently moist, well-draining soil.
