Swarms of butterflies and bees introduced us to this bush. We had to get a closer look to see what the hubbub was all about. That’s when we officially met the butterfly bush with its cone-shaped blue flower spikes shouting out a warm welcome to pollinators. Now available as a premium 3/4-QT size, the Nanho Blue butterfly bush can be a welcome mat for your butterfly garden, too. Hummingbirds also love Buddleia (Buddleja) davidii. Numerous colors are available these days, but blues and purples are the original natives. Nanho Blue boasts light-blue blooms.
