I received my Violette de Bordeaux starter sized tree and it was in good condition. However, it sported only a single leaf and its caliper was significantly smaller than the image on the website. I understand there is variability in rooted cuttings, but this was really at the low end. The entire length of the stem was unlignified stock (i.e. green and supple) and at most 1/8" in diameter at its widest point. It was potted up immediately and kept indoors in a bright room with early morning sun. It has since begun to push out a second leaf. It would not be able to tolerate being kept outside in our 80-90F heat at this size even if shaded. We will see how it fairs. BTW, your sliders that are used to report gardening experience and how easy it is to care for the received plant are not functioning and have no scale.

We ordered the yellow long neck and violette de Bordeaux figs from wellspring. They arrived earlier than expected and were small, as advertised, but very happy little trees. We’ve potted them both and they seem to be thriving in their new home. Very happy with our order. Thanks!
I paid a little more to get my plants earlier but instead I got them the same time as regular shipping once the got here the leave look wilted and dead I'm waiting to see if they grow new ones within a week because I know it was sitting in a hot truck for like 5 days it arrived dry looking and very thin I hope they perk up if not I'll be sending them back

This fig plant came too dry and too little to survive the long travel in a small box, I think this is a waste of my time.
