So you want to grow your own citrus but you're overwhelmed with all the different options? Or maybe you're anxious about that awful citrus greening that's wiped out entire groves across Florida. Set your fears aside, we've selected the most superior and most HLB-tolerant citrus varieties so you don't have to do any guess work and can just focus on producing delicious fruit. Callie Kumquats are much less susceptible to greening than other types of citrus and also rank high in fruit yield, cold tolerance, and taste.
Callie Kumquat has a high yield and grows compactly which makes it manageable and easy to harvest. The Callie Kumquat tree can survive temperatures in the upper teens, slightly ahead of the Sugar Belle Orange Tree. With few to no seeds, you can enjoy the delicious flavor of this kumquat without interruption.
This Kumquat comes in a 1-gallon pot, which is the same size commercial growers plant in their groves, so you will be ready to plant straight in the ground or container of your choice.
