Blue Porterweed - Stachytarpheta cayennensis

There are more than 60 species of Porterweed (Stachytarpheta), low-growing annual herbs that attract butterflies. Because of its prominent blue flowers, the Stachytarpheta cayennensis is our favorite variety. The flowers typically wilt after a day. Fertilize twice a year to encourage continual blooming and cut back occasionally to prompt new growth.

Plant size. Our plants ship in 3-inch-deep pots when they are 3-6 inches tall so they can grow to maturity under your green thumb.
