It's no surprise that Queen Victoria offered riches in exchange for anyone who could bring her a Mangosteen. Known as the queen of fruits, African Imbe Mangosteens are creamy, antioxidant-rich, and truly hard to come by. Hailing from East Africa, African Imbe Mangosteen produces small, golden-yellow fruits with creamy, pale flesh offering a subtle sweetness and custard-like texture. You won't find Mangosteens in your grocery store since they aren't produced commercially. So grow them at home if you are seeking a rare, specialized fruit for your garden.
Our African Imbe Mangosteen comes in a Premium 3/4-QT. pot which gives you a nice head start on planting.

We aim to ship your plants when they’re 3-8” tall, though we often ship them taller than that.
The exact size of the plant we send you is variable on the time of year and how long we've been growing it out.
