Desirable closed eye fruit that is medium-sized, long and turbinate. Skin color is glossy dark purple with a reddish tint. Light amber to light strawberry-colored pulp. A heavy main crop is produced in July followed by a later crop that often lasts into December. The mild flavor is good, and the fruit has high sugar content. Suited to the Southeastern US. It is of the common variety of fig meaning it does not require pollination or another plant to develop and mature fruit. Zone 7-10. Grows to 30 feet under ideal conditions.
