  • Agapanthus 'Lily of the Nile'

Agapanthus africanus. Originally from the banks of the Nile River, Agapanthus can now be enjoyed everywhere. Extremely popular in Great Britain and Europe. The large flowers make a bold display atop long stalks that rise above the abundant green leaves. They multiply readily and will form large clumps after several seasons. Very tolerant of soil conditions; can tolerate occasional dryness or even being occasionally wet, but does best in semi well-drained soil.

These are large plants in small pots. Plant these in the ground or in a larger pot and watch them grow. Some may even bloom next year. These are very healthy plants that are hoping you'll give them a good home. At this price you can plant a whole bed of them. Most of the clumps in this offer have 4 or 6 plants. A few have more and a few have less but all in all it's a great deal. Yes, you can even separate them to make more plants.

These starter plants are shipped in 2.5" deep cell pots. We try to keep all of our plants between 3-8" in height with excellent root systems.
